Description

xmlregexp in libxml2 before 2.15.4 has a NULL pointer dereference in xmlRegNewParserCtxt after a strdup failure, i.e., it does not calculate a string length after NULL checking.

The strlen() on the xmlStrdup() result was added by the upstream fix for CVE-2026-86137 (76fe08d9, 2.15.4). None of our releases need that fix, meaning that this CVE also affects none of our releases.
